If any devotee offered eatables to her, it was her will only whether to take that thing or not. Mata Lal Devi did not get marry and meditation was the only diet of her Soul.
After the division of countries in 1947, Lal Devi selected Amritsar city to live in. While the rest of the family settled in Jalandhar. She resided in Railway Quarters with her Devotee Pindi Das. She was living a very simple life and held many ‘Kirtan’ & ‘Jagran’. Many devotees attended her Kirtan & Jagran and took blessings in her presence.
